Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 6, 2026

Stoa takes your privacy seriously. To better protect your privacy we provide this privacy policy notice explaining the way your personal information is collected and used.

Collection of Routine Information

This website tracks basic information about its visitors. This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and referring pages. None of this information can personally identify specific visitors to this website. The information is tracked for routine administration and maintenance purposes.

Cookies

Where necessary, this website uses cookies to store information about a visitor's preferences and history in order to better serve the visitor and/or present the visitor with customized content.

Google User Data

Stoa lets users sign in with Google and connect their Google-authenticated identity to applications that use Stoa. When you choose to use Google authentication, Stoa accesses the Google user data made available through the Google OAuth consent flow, including your Google account email address, basic profile information such as your name and profile picture, and Google account identifiers used to verify your identity.

Stoa uses Google user data only to authenticate you, create or find your Stoa account, show your signed-in profile in the Stoa interface, connect your Stoa account to apps you authorize, prevent duplicate or fraudulent account claims, and provide support and security for those account and connection workflows.

Stoa stores the minimum Google user data needed for these purposes, such as your email address, profile name, profile image URL, Stoa account identifier, and the authentication provider associated with your account. Stoa does not use Google user data to read, create, modify, or delete files, emails, calendars, contacts, or other Google Workspace content.

Stoa does not sell Google user data. Stoa shares Google user data only with service providers that operate Stoa, such as authentication, hosting, database, payment, analytics, logging, and customer support providers, or when required by law. When you authorize a third party application through Stoa, Stoa may share the connection status and account identifier needed for that application to recognize your Stoa connection, but Stoa does not give that application your Google OAuth credentials.

Stoa does not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or ML models. You may revoke Stoa's access in your Google account permissions or contact us to request deletion of Google user data associated with your Stoa account, subject to legal, security, and operational retention requirements.

Stoa's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
